Sound Alchemy
I created this alchemical sound meditation as Venus and Neptune perfected their conjunction in Pisces. I played:
Androgynous Indium, for his resonance with the Galactic, Piscean Sea;
Mother of Platinum to call forth Venus, the Sacred Feminine;
Sacral Chakra, which resonates at the same frequency as the planet Venus;
Ocean Gold to invoke Neptune, dolphin consciousness;
and Grandmother to hold space for spiritual alchemy.
Starstuff
Venus is love, pleasure, beauty, art, relationship, the sweetness of life. Neptune is unconditioned love, music, Source, imagination, the higher octave of Venus and ruler of Pisces. Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac, and the place where consciousness dissolves back into the primordial cosmic soup. Pisces rules the feet and lymphatic system.
This weekend, Venus in a separating conjunction with Neptune, will reach 29˚ Pisces, the last degree of the sign known as the anaretic. The 29th degree denotes the end of a cycle, a culmination of energy and focuses attention on change, as well as lessons learned; it is a degree of karmic completion. It is worth noting that Saturn, Lord of Karma, Father Time is approaching the final degree of Aquarius, while Pluto — transformation, power, control — slowly moves through 29˚ Capricorn.
Planetary Alchemy
To embody this healing infusion of Divine Love, I suggest creating a Venus altar. Set aside sacred space to dedicate attention to your held intention; this is what an altar does.
Begin to deepen into inner space with the assistance of the aforementioned alchemical sound meditation. As you relax, using the thumb of one hand, draw a spiral in the palm of the other with the intention of activating, spiraling open the energy centers. Open each palm chakra, as well as those in the soles of each foot. Imagine, feel, experience life force energy flowing through your body. Place your hands on your opening heart to offer healing and compassion to Self.
You might invite Venus, exalted in Neptune’s care, to divinely guide your intention toward spiritual healing and internal alchemy. In Pisces, Venus has an enhanced potential to magnetize dreams and the heart’s desire… all things Venusian: money, love, pleasure, inspiration, luxury, partnership, harmony, beauty.
Once you finish meditating, build your altar invoking Venusian correspondence and sympathetic resonance: Venus resonates with roses, the number 7, green, copper, turquoise, rose quartz, rhodonite, emerald, kunzite. I suggest creating your altar Friday, February 17, as Friday is Venus’s Day; she will also be conjunct Neptune, quickly approaching 29˚ Pisces, the anaretic, which makes for incredibly potent Venus magic!
